Nothing
Nothing
Nothing - great place
- Location next to a cemetery- Access to hotel is through an unpaved under construction road, can be a but bumpy getting in and out - The room we were given had no Wifi coverage, we managed with our data sims, you may want to check Wifi before you accept the room.- No dinning options within the place, however excellent restaurants are a tuktuk away.
1. Mosquitoes within the lobby area!2. Location - no shops to eat or buy in 200-300m walking radius
There were many mosquitoes and flies within the lobby area as well as rooms.
—-
It’s not their fault but the road to get there is under maintenance and closed at night so we had to call them to reach the place passing by a very narrow street. There was dust within the common area and the trash can of our bathroom. And maybe they can replace some towels. One of our towels was damaged.
Location. Interior, staff, food. Hospitality and the way of behaviour with client.. Many overseas guest wrer present. worth for next visit. near from all central locations, business points. Budget hotel
It’s a little way out of the town away from the main sites, so involves a Tuk Tuk to travel in and out down a especially bumpy road. Expect it to take half an hour to get to the Pettah area in normal traffic. The perk of this, however, is that the hotel was very quiet with no road or people noise!
Approach road was under construction and bit bumpy
Since we weren't able to spend much time in Colombo as we arrived late at night and left within the morning, we are not committing to the judgement, just thought the way to the place was a bit "isolated", its closed to a huge cemetery and the street is not very well kept.
No possibility to open the windows (no mosquito nets) -> the air within the room was not so fresh.
Room quite dark, no view, poor surrounding neighbourhood.
A little away from the main town center, but this is alright because the town center doesn't have that much to offer either.
The towels are a bit old.
1) not everything within the room was cleaned as we suppose: the bed seemed like somebody was sleeping there before us... Not clean.. 2) terrible mosquitos during the night: in previous hotels if such problem (mosquitos), the personal visited each room within the evening with spray against mosquitos and in detail sprayed each corner.. Here we were awake during the night and it was terrible to fight against many very small mosquitos! I didnt sleep hours..
- Theres some construction work down the road, but no noise to be concerned about- The property is a guesthouse and so in my view it competes more with Airbnb than a hotel, so one minor suggestion to offer a washing machine and dryer for guests (additional costs are totally fine) as this is a key value add that apartments homes usually offer.- Otherwise this place rocks!
Location a bit far from everything which is common in Sri LankaNo outside view from the rooms window
They don’t serve evening meals, but will send employees to a restaurant to provide a meal as a take away, this is not a problem.
The location is a bit inconvenient, each time we were in and out, we had to catch Tutu at 300plus rupees. We went out at 5am within the morning, by the time we came back to hotel at 9pm at night, the room still wasn't cleaned up.WIFI within the room was instable
There is no elevator and stairs are very steep. Very toug

Colombo is a busy and vibrant place with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and ruins. It was the legislative capital of Sri Lanka until 1982.
Due to its large harbour and its strategic position along the East-West sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. It was made the capital of the island when Sri Lanka was ceded to the British Empire in 1815, and its status as capital was retained when the nation became independent in 1948. In 1978, when administrative functions were moved to Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, Colombo was designated as the commercial capital of Sri Lanka.
Like many cities, Colombos urban area extends well beyond the boundaries of a single local authority, encompassing other municipal and urban councils such as Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council, Dehiwala Mount Lavinia Municipal Council, Kolonnawa Urban Council, Kaduwela Municipal Council and Kotikawatte Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha. The main town is home to a majority of Sri Lankas corporate offices, restaurants and entertainment venues.
