One master bedroom with en suite, second bedroom, second bathroom, living room and kitchen. Including full kitchen facilities, tv, wireless etc. On the sixth floor are lovely outdoor swimming pools with lifeguard and large sun beds. The owners were extremely helpful, having supplied tea, coffee, fruit, biscuits and other essentials especially when arriving late at night. The owner went out of his way to post items left in wardrobe to one of our next destinations.
The apartment is fitted out with quality furniture and the kitchen is well equipped. Having some spices and coffee and tea available was a real bonus.
The hosts were very kind and caring
Wonderful apartment with an excellent gym and pool and small supermarket. It was noisy with traffic at rush hour.
Nothing to dislike.
Cannot comment on anything negative
Nothing
Nothing
The only thing we did not find great are the curtains; although they are made of a nice fabric they do not block the light, so we woke up a bit earlier than we hoped. Maybe a black-out curtain can be added to the bedrooms?
Tuk tuk drivers were a little confused about the address. But the Pizza Hut on Union Place is a good landmark to use.
Would have liked twin beds in one of the rooms due to teenage children sharing but the owner supplied extra bedding and one of them slept on the sofa so all good.
Make sure to communicate with just one of the owners of the property. The lady seemed a bit confused.Clarify total cost at onset. price is deceiving.
The clothes airer was a bit fragile and probably needs to be replaced.
Cooker wasn't working when we were there - didn't affect is as we weren't planning to cook during our stay
nothing really
It was perfect, nothing to say.
A little hard to find and people couldn't help us. It is in fact an apartment in a residential block of flats called three20 so when we were asking for Araylia Apartments no one could help. However it is 320 on union place street and is 500 LKR from train station by tuk tuk.
Good windows but still can hear noise of traffic (suspect this is the case with most places within the town anyway)
Nothing.
Nothing!
Nothing.
Due to its large harbour and its strategic position along the East-West sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. It was made the capital of the island when Sri Lanka was ceded to the British Empire in 1815, and its status as capital was retained when the nation became independent in 1948. In 1978, when administrative functions were moved to Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, Colombo was designated as the commercial capital of Sri Lanka.
